Pittsburgh Penguins forward Andrei Kuzmenko is switching his jersey number from No. 10 to No. 62 to honor his late father, Alexander. Kuzmenko rejoined his teammates for practice on Friday in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, after attending his father's funeral in Moscow.
Alexander died at age 62 following a bear attack during a fishing trip in Siberia. Kuzmenko stated the loss was a major shock, additionally noting that his mother was born in 1962.
