Flyers’ Cole Knuble Quickly Becoming Key for Young Team

Rookie forward Cole Knuble is quickly cementing an essential role with the Philadelphia Flyers during his first full professional season. Following an early-season call-up after just six AHL games with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, the 22-year-old has made a rapid impact in the NHL. His contributions include a two-goal performance in a 3-1 win over the Buffalo Sabres and a late goal in a 6-3 victory against the Utah Mammoth.

Knuble has earned praise for his hockey sense, forechecking, and versatility, shifting seamlessly across various forward lines alongside veterans. His father, former Flyers forward Mike Knuble, has offered guidance as the younger Knuble continues to solidify his spot at the NHL level.
