The Philadelphia Flyers are playing hockey again (derogatory). They’re facing what many would consider their easiest matchup of the season so far, but the Seattle Kraken are certainly no slouches with a 4-2-0 record. Maybe it was just the schedule…
The Philadelphia Flyers prepare to host the Seattle Kraken at 7:00 p.m., seeking to avoid an eight-game season-opening winless streak. The broadcast is scheduled across NBCSP and 97.5 The Fanatic. Head coach Rick Tocchet has reshuffled Philadelphia's forward combinations, uniting Porter Martone and Matvei Michkov alongside Noah Cates on the top line.
Seattle enters the matchup with a 4-2-0 record and currently ranks among the NHL leaders in goals scored, including second in five-on-five goals per 60 minutes. Meanwhile, reports indicate the Flyers are not planning to dismiss Tocchet in the immediate future despite their difficult start.
