Dallas Stars defenseman Miro Heiskanen is considered doubtful for Saturday's matchup against the San Jose Sharks due to an upper-body injury. Head coach Glen Gulutzan confirmed Heiskanen's status after the blueliner exited Tuesday's contest early and missed Thursday's game against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
In Heiskanen's absence, Thomas Harley and Nils Lundkvist served as Dallas' top defensive pair during Thursday's shootout loss. Rookie Trey Taylor skated alongside Tyler Myers on the third pairing and could make his third career NHL appearance on Saturday if Heiskanen cannot play.
