Macklin Celebrini, Yaroslav Askarov, Darnell Nurse & Ryan Warsofsky spoke after the San Jose Sharks’ 4-1 loss to the Minnesota Wild.

The San Jose Sharks are focusing on internal positives and trying to ignore outside noise following a 4-1 loss to the Minnesota Wild. Macklin Celebrini scored the lone goal for San Jose, which represented an improvement after Wednesday's 7-2 blowout loss to the Los Angeles Kings. Despite competing closely with a top Western Conference team, the Sharks have now dropped six of their last seven games.
Head coach Ryan Warsofsky praised Michael Misa and Ty Dellandrea while noting fourth-line struggles. Celebrini highlighted improved puck control and offensive zone pressure, while defenseman Darnell Nurse emphasized focusing on internal effort rather than outside criticism. Goaltender Yaroslav Askarov explained he was screened on a pivotal goal, as the team prepares to face the Dallas Stars next.
