Defenseman Ryan Lin ranked tenth in Fear the Fin's Top 25 Under 25 list after being selected 21st overall by the San Jose Sharks in the 2026 NHL Draft. General Manager Mike Grier traded up to draft the 18-year-old, who was the third of San Jose's three first-round selections that year.
During the 2025-26 season, Lin captained the WHL's Vancouver Giants, recording 57 points across 53 games to lead the team in scoring. The 5-foot-11 blueliner is committed to play for the University of Denver in the NCAA for the 2026-27 season.
