The San Jose Sharks have activated forward Adam Gaudette off injured reserve.

The San Jose Sharks have officially activated forward Adam Gaudette off injured reserve. To open a roster spot for Gaudette, the Sharks assigned Brett Leason to the AHL's San Jose Barracuda after he cleared waivers on Friday. Gaudette was listed as a healthy scratch for Saturday afternoon's matchup against Edmonton.
Gaudette enters the final season of a two-year, $4 million contract signed in 2025 before becoming an unrestricted free agent. Last season, the 30-year-old recorded 17 goals and eight assists across 66 games for the Sharks while averaging 11:25 of ice time per night.
