Darnell Nurse scored 1:03 into overtime to secure a 3-2 road victory for the San Jose Sharks against the St. Louis Blues on Thursday. The Sharks came from behind twice during regulation before Ivan Stenberg assisted Nurse on the game-winner, lifting San Jose to a 3-1-0 record with all three wins coming in overtime.
Connor McMichael opened the scoring for St. Louis before Tyler Toffoli equalized in the second period. Dillon Dube restored the Blues' lead with a short-handed tally early in the third, but Collin Graf answered for San Jose. Alex Nedeljkovic made 24 saves in his season debut for the Sharks, while Joel Hofer stopped 24 shots for St. Louis.
