In this edition of Saturday Headlines, Elliotte Friedman discusses the latest news surrounding Connor Hellebuyck and what teams might be willing to make early trades.

The Seattle Mariners are facing key offseason roster decisions following their Game 7 ALCS elimination against Toronto. Despite capturing their first AL West title since 2001, Seattle fell short of its first World Series appearance. President of baseball operations Jerry Dipoto and manager Dan Wilson now head into the winter evaluating several important impending free agents.
Retaining free-agent first baseman Josh Naylor is considered a priority by the Mariners, according to Dipoto. The front office must also decide on third baseman Eugenio Suárez, possibly replacing him with rookie Ben Williamson, while second baseman Jorge Polanco weighs a $6 million player option.
