A late bounce off Connor McDavid set up Leon Draisaitl’s game-winning goal as the Kraken fell 3-1 to the Oilers in Edmonton.

The Seattle Kraken suffered a late 3-1 defeat to the Edmonton Oilers at Rogers Place following a decisive late goal by Leon Draisaitl. With 2:27 remaining in a tied contest, a deflection off Connor McDavid allowed Draisaitl to beat Seattle goaltender Philipp Grubauer, before McDavid added an empty-netter in the final minute to seal the win.
Edmonton initially led through an early goal from Owen Michaels, but Seattle responded in the second period when Bobby McMann converted a pass from Jordan Eberle against Oilers goaltender Devon Levi. Forward Mackie Samoskevich also returned to action for the Kraken after missing nine days due to an upper-body injury.
