The Seattle Kraken have placed defenseman Ryan Lindgren on injured reserve due to an upper-body injury. The team announced that Lindgren faces an estimated recovery timeline of four to six weeks, keeping him sidelined until early November.
Lindgren suffered the injury early in Tuesday's game against the Vegas Golden Knights following a boarding hit from Marc Gatcomb. With Lindgren out, the Kraken could turn to left-handed depth defenseman Josh Mahura or 24-year-old right-handed defenseman Ville Ottavainen to fill the roster spot.
