The Story in 60 Seconds

St. Louis Blues defenseman Colton Parayko is listed as probable for Saturday's game against the Detroit Red Wings after missing practice with an upper-body injury. Parayko briefly exited Thursday's 4-1 win over the Boston Bruins before returning to finish the game. Head coach Jim Montgomery noted that holding Parayko out of Friday's skate was precautionary, adding that rookie defenseman Quinton Burns is prepared to make his NHL debut if Parayko cannot play.

Montgomery also confirmed that forward Ross Johnston will play during the team's upcoming four-game road trip after missing six games with a lower-body injury. Meanwhile, defenseman Logan Mailloux remains week-to-week with a broken hand and will not play on the trip, though he may travel with the team.
