The St. Louis Blues have recalled forward Otto Stenberg from the AHL's Springfield Thunderbirds and placed winger Ross Johnston on injured reserve. Johnston, who is dealing with a lower-body injury, is listed as day-to-day but must miss at least one week.
Stenberg, a 2023 first-round draft pick, recorded four points in six AHL games this season before the recall. The roster adjustments maintain a 23-player roster for the Blues while pushing the team over the salary cap ceiling and into LTIR.
