Veteran winger missed a 5-2 loss to Predators Saturday with a lower-body injury, was placed on IR, is day to day, becomes fifth Blue on sidelines, joining Mailloux, Tucker, Toropchenko, Dube

The St. Louis Blues have placed veteran forward Ross Johnston on injured reserve with a lower-body injury, designating him as day-to-day. In a corresponding roster move to counter their growing injury list, the Blues recalled 21-year-old forward Otto Stenberg from the Springfield Thunderbirds.
Johnston, who signed a three-year contract as a free agent, joins Tyler Tucker, Logan Mailloux, Alexey Toropchenko, and Dillon Dube on the sidelines. Stenberg, a 2023 first-round draft pick, recorded four points in six games for Springfield this season prior to his call-up.
