09/30/2026: Just two days after their announcement that Mailloux underwent surgery and would be re-evaluated in eight weeks, the Blues also issued an update detailing the full extent of Tucker’s injury.
St. Louis Blues defenseman Tyler Tucker underwent successful arthroscopic surgery on his right knee on Wednesday morning. The team announced he will be re-evaluated in six weeks. The injury occurred after Tucker tweaked his knee during practice, leading the Blues to place him on Injured Reserve ahead of the regular season.
Tucker's procedure follows hand surgery for fellow defenseman Logan Mailloux, who faces an eight-week re-evaluation timeline. With Tucker sidelined, 2023 first-round pick Theo Lindstein is set to make the opening-night roster. The Blues also claimed Justin Barron off waivers and recalled Adam Jiricek from the AHL to bolster their blue-line depth.
