The Anaheim Ducks defeated the Winnipeg Jets 5-1 on Friday night in Winnipeg to hand the Jets their first regulation loss of the season. Rookie Judd Caulfield led the way for Anaheim, scoring his first career NHL goal and adding an assist as the Ducks improved their record to 3-1-0.
Anaheim's fourth line played a key role in the bounce-back victory, with Judd Caulfield, Tim Washe, and Jeff Malott each recording their first career multi-point NHL games. Tim Washe and Mikael Granlund each finished with a goal and an assist, while Sam Colangelo and Nikita Nesterenko also scored for Anaheim.
