Dylan Larkin continues to be the talk of the NHL. He has just one goal in seven games this season, and already has ten teams on his list of acceptable destinations in the event of a trade.
Detroit Red Wings forward Dylan Larkin could reportedly reconsider the Montreal Canadiens as an acceptable trade destination, according to insider Pierre LeBrun on TSN 690. Although Montreal is not currently on Larkin's ten-team list of acceptable trade locations, LeBrun reported that individuals in the forward's inner circle believe Montreal would be a good fit and have discussed the possibility with him.
The writer notes that while some people close to Larkin support the idea of a permanent move to Montreal, Larkin has not formally altered his stance. The writer questions whether acquiring a player who initially excluded all Canadian franchises from his trade preferences would be a wise move for the Canadiens.
