The Lightning have been tough to beat at home this season, owning the best home record in the NHL with an 8-0-0 record at Benchmark International Arena. Now, they're looking to carry that success over to the road.

The Tampa Bay Lightning overcame an early two-goal deficit to defeat the Minnesota Wild 4-3 in overtime on Saturday night. Minnesota jumped out to a 2-0 lead with goals from Blake Coleman and Max Shabanov within the first three minutes. Tampa Bay responded behind two goals from Jake Guentzel and an equalizer from Charle-Édouard D’Astous to force the extra period.
Nikita Kucherov scored the game-winning power-play goal in overtime after Zemgus Girgensons won a key faceoff. Tampa Bay finished 3-for-6 on the man advantage and outshot the Wild 34-22. Lightning head coach Jon Cooper praised the energy provided by Scott Sabourin, Jeff Viel, and Conor Geekie in turning the game around.
