The Lightning have placed one of their forwards on waivers.

The Tampa Bay Lightning have placed veteran forward Jansen Harkins on waivers, according to PuckPedia. The move comes shortly after the eight-year NHL veteran made his debut for the Lightning on October 1 against the New York Rangers. Other teams in the league now have the opportunity to claim Harkins off waivers.
Harkins signed a one-year, two-way contract with Tampa Bay during the off-season. If he clears waivers unclaimed, the Lightning will have the option to assign the forward to their American Hockey League affiliate, the Syracuse Crunch.
