Dennis Hildeby was solid in his Lightning debut.

Tampa Bay Lightning goaltender Dennis Hildeby delivered a strong performance in his team debut on Thursday night, helping secure a 3-2 victory against the Minnesota Wild. The 25-year-old stopped 34 of 36 shots to finish the game with a .944 save percentage and keep Tampa Bay's winning streak alive.
The Lightning acquired Hildeby from the Toronto Maple Leafs during the off-season to bolster their backup goalie options. In 20 appearances with Toronto last season, Hildeby recorded a .914 save percentage, a 2.86 goals-against average, and one shutout.
