Red Wings’ Dylan Larkin expected to make season debut against Senators

Detroit Red Wings center Dylan Larkin is expected to make his 2026-27 regular-season debut on Tuesday against the Ottawa Senators. Head coach Todd McLellan confirmed he anticipates Larkin playing after the forward skated on a line with Lucas Raymond and Viktor Arvidsson during practice rushes.

Larkin's return follows an offseason trade request in June, which led to Detroit stripping his captaincy in September after six seasons. Red Wings supporters booed Larkin during the home opener, though he remains under contract through 2030-31.
