Tampa Bay Lightning captain Victor Hedman is day to day with a lower-body injury.

Tampa Bay Lightning captain Victor Hedman is listed as day to day after sustaining a lower-body injury. Hedman played just one shift in the second period of Friday's 6-3 loss to the Colorado Avalanche and did not return, finishing with 5:56 of ice time. The team confirmed Hedman would not play in Saturday's game against the Utah Mammoth.
The 35-year-old defenseman had played in all 10 of Tampa Bay's games to start the season, tallying two goals and four points. The Lightning are set to practice this week ahead of their upcoming home game against the Winnipeg Jets on Thursday.
