The Toronto Maple Leafs secured a 4-2 road victory over the Vancouver Canucks behind a dominant second period. William Nylander opened the scoring early, but Brock Boeser equalized for Vancouver on a breakaway. Toronto took control in the second frame with goals from Auston Matthews and Brandon Duhaime, out-chancing Vancouver 15-2 during the period.
