There is no real reason for the Toronto Maple Leafs to lose sleep over Connor Hellebuyck landing in New Jersey.

Nestor Quixtan of Heavy argues that the Toronto Maple Leafs should not be worried following the New Jersey Devils' acquisition of goaltender Connor Hellebuyck. Quixtan contends that Hellebuyck's arrival does not fundamentally shift the balance of power in the Eastern Conference, noting that New Jersey must still provide sufficient goal support and defense in front of him to truly become serious contenders.
Furthermore, the Maple Leafs will only face the Devils three times during the regular season, with a postseason matchup improbable prior to the Eastern Conference Final. Quixtan also highlights that Hellebuyck missed all of training camp and has not played in months, suggesting he will require time to adjust and regain his form with his new club.
