Every once in a while, a Toronto Maple Leafs prospect does something that makes me stop and take a second look. Tyler Hopkins had one of those nights Saturday.
Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Tyler Hopkins recorded a goal and two assists alongside seven shots on net during Saturday's game. His three-point performance led the Guelph Storm to a 5-1 victory over Owen Sound in the Ontario Hockey League.
Hopkins was drafted by Toronto in the third round, 86th overall, in the 2025 draft. Following his time at the Maple Leafs' training camp, the forward has accumulated five points across his first two junior games this season.
