Marco Rossi has five points in 14 games this season.

Vancouver Canucks head coach Manny Malhotra explained that forward Marco Rossi's lack of offensive production is due to playing too much on the perimeter. The 25-year-old center has registered only five points in his first 14 games during the 2026-27 season, including just one assist over his last 12 appearances, as the Canucks have struggled to a 3-12-1 record.
Malhotra noted that Rossi must get inside toward the paint to seek dirty goals and rebounds rather than settling for perimeter offense. Despite generating 14 individual high-danger chances at five-on-five and 22 shots, Rossi has gone without a point in four straight contests.
