Former Canucks Winger Lands New Coaching Gig In The UK

Former Vancouver Canucks winger Jack Skille has been appointed as the new head coach of the Glasgow Clan in the UK Elite Ice Hockey League. Skille replaces the team's previous leadership after Glasgow suffered eight consecutive regulation defeats to start their season. Skille expressed excitement about joining the Clan, noting that the organization's vision and culture align with his.

To accept the head coaching position in Scotland, Skille departs his role as an assistant coach with the DEL's Schwenninger Wild Wings. Skille previously played for the Canucks during the 2016-17 NHL campaign, tallying nine points in 55 games before concluding his playing career in Europe with stints in the KHL and ICEHL.
