Vancouver led through two periods after finding the net in the first and second frames, but San Jose responded with three unanswered goals in the third period to seal the victory.
San Jose initiated their comeback on an early third-period power play after Vancouver successfully killed off four prior penalties. The Sharks subsequently scored two goals within 30 seconds to pull ahead, with the Canucks unable to salvage a point despite a late push in the final minutes.
