The Vegas Golden Knights appear to be not interested in Dylan Larkin's services. There are plenty of reasons for why Vegas is pulling out of the Detroit Red Wings star's sweepstakes.

NHL insider Darren Dreger reported on Hockey Sense that the Vegas Golden Knights are not currently involved in trade talks for Detroit Red Wings center Dylan Larkin, citing a source in Detroit. Although Vegas is reportedly on Larkin's list of preferred destinations, Dreger's report indicates the franchise is not actively pursuing the forward at this stage.
Writer Jacob Walters argues that Vegas general manager Kelly McCrimmon faces other pressing roster concerns rather than adding another center. Walters highlights defensive depth, costly turnovers, and severe salary-cap constraints as urgent priorities that make pursuing Larkin an unlikely path for the Golden Knights.
