Golden Knights betting: Despite so many changes, 100 points is worthy goal

The Vegas Golden Knights enter the 2026-27 NHL season with Ryan Craig promoted as their new head coach following a turbulent previous campaign. Vegas reached the Stanley Cup Final last season under interim coach John Tortorella, who took over after Bruce Cassidy was fired with eight games left, before losing in six games to the Carolina Hurricanes.

Vegas chose not to extend Tortorella and elevated Craig from the AHL Henderson Silver Knights. The team must replace Pavel Dorofeyev, who departed in free agency after scoring 37 goals, and added returning forward Victor Olofsson to bolster the roster.
