The Golden Knights breezed through training camp and preseason. Next is an 84-game season, starting Tuesday against the Chicago Blackhawks.

The Vegas Golden Knights will begin their 10th NHL season on Tuesday against the Chicago Blackhawks at T-Mobile Arena. Following a brief training camp and four preseason games, the team enters the new 84-game campaign mostly healthy. Tuesday's opener also marks the official start of head coach Ryan Craig's tenure behind the bench.
This matchup represents the Golden Knights' first meaningful contest since losing Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final to the Carolina Hurricanes. Aside from forward Raphael Lavoie, who remains day-to-day with an undisclosed injury, the roster is fully healthy and ready for the opener.
