‘Super honored and lucky’: Trevor Connelly put in work to make NHL debut

Vegas Golden Knights top prospect Trevor Connelly is set to make his NHL debut on Tuesday against the Chicago Blackhawks. At 20 years and 212 days old, the forward becomes the second-youngest player in franchise history to debut, trailing only Cody Glass. Connelly earned his spot during training camp after skating alongside Tomas Hertl and Victor Olofsson in preseason action.

Selected 19th overall in the 2024 NHL draft, Connelly posted 49 points in 46 games for Henderson last season before gaining 12 pounds over the offseason. Coach Ryan Craig praised Connelly's rapid growth and work ethic leading up to his debut at T-Mobile Arena.
