Stuart Skinner is giving the hometown crowd plenty to cheer about.

Winnipeg Jets goaltender Stuart Skinner made 32 saves to lead his team to a 3-2 victory over the Colorado Avalanche at Canada Life Centre on Wednesday night. Skinner improved his season record while earning loud cheers from the home crowd with several highlight-reel stops, including denying Martin Necas twice.
Kyle Connor scored two goals, including the game-winner with one minute remaining in regulation off an assist from Mark Scheifele. The Jets improved to 3-0-1 on the season, though star defenseman Josh Morrissey exited early in the second period due to a suspected hand or wrist injury.
