A brutal shutout loss in Carolina pushes Winnipeg to a breaking point. With offense stalled and discipline crumbling, Captain Adam Lowry signals a looming roster shakeup.

The Winnipeg Jets suffered their ninth consecutive defeat on Sunday, falling 7-0 to the defending champion Carolina Hurricanes. The shutout marked the conclusion of a difficult stretch featuring three games in four days against top Stanley Cup contenders. Following the blowout loss, team captain Adam Lowry addressed the media and indicated that significant roster changes are on the horizon.
Goaltender Stuart Skinner conceded five goals before backup Clay Stevenson allowed two more in the lopsided defeat. Winnipeg has now been outscored 37-16 throughout its nine-game skid, having not won a contest since October 13 against the Minnesota Wild. Lowry suggested potential call-ups from the AHL's Manitoba Moose could help revitalize the struggling lineup.
