Fans are desperately hoping that Tonga coach Kristian Woolf makes a late switch to his starting pack so we can see two behemoths renew their rivalry after last year’s fiery encounter.
Tonga forward Stefano Utoikamanu has reflected on his previous clash with Samoa enforcer Francis Molo, calling the aftermath of a knockout incident "a bit s**t." In last year's Pacific Championships meeting, Molo caught Utoikamanu with a high shot that resulted in a tournament-ending concussion, while Molo received only a $390 fine and avoided sin-bin sanction.
Ahead of Sunday's upcoming match in Sydney, Utoikamanu expressed lingering frustration over the refereeing decisions from the incident, although he noted there is no personal animosity after shaking hands post-game. Utoikamanu has been named on the bench, while Molo is named to start for Samoa.
