An NRL forward has been withdrawn from the side after injury.

England head coach Brian McDermott has been forced to alter his Rugby League World Cup squad following an injury blow. Forward Morgan Smithies, who is bound for the Perth Bears, sustained a tournament-ending injury during a training session this week.
The setback removes the forward from contention for the tournament. The withdrawal occurred ahead of England's upcoming World Cup group clash against Tonga.
