NRL star Cody Walker announces his engagement to long-time girlfriend Amy – after they welcomed their first child last year

South Sydney Rabbitohs star Cody Walker has announced his engagement to his long-time partner, Amy Curmi. The 36-year-old NRL player confirmed the news on social media on Saturday, sharing a photo of the couple together while abroad. In the post, Curmi displayed her diamond engagement ring, with Walker noting that they left Australia as parents and would return as a bride and groom-to-be.

The engagement announcement follows the birth of their daughter, Keari Lou Walker, who arrived in December. Walker, who noted becoming a girl dad for the first time, revealed that his fourth child remarkably shares a birthday with her older brother, Kian. Fellow rugby league players, including former South Sydney teammate Liam Knight, shared their congratulations online following the social media post.
