Professor Steven Broomhead MBE and Norman Summers have stepped down from the Warrington Wolves Board of Directors. Summers had served as a board member since 1998, while Broomhead joined in 2003, previously holding roles as chairman from late 2009 and vice chairman from 2017. Warrington Wolves expressed gratitude for their long-standing dedication and commitment to the club over the years.
Both men played vital roles during the 1998 consortium takeover that saved the Super League club from serious debt and facilitated the move to the Halliwell Jones Stadium in 2004. Owner Simon Moran, chairman Stuart Middleton, and directors Mike Lomax, Karl Fitzpatrick, and Stuart Browne remain on the club's board.
