The Chiefs are resuming their strong pursuit of AJ Brimson with coach Willie Peters keen to add the Titans star to PNG’s growing roster.
The PNG Chiefs have resumed their pursuit of Gold Coast Titans back AJ Brimson, with head coach Willie Peters confirming strong interest in adding him to the expansion roster. Brimson has reportedly been offered a three-year, tax-free contract worth $750,000 per season, though negotiations previously stalled over how much the Titans would contribute to his contract starting in 2028.
Brimson remains contracted to the Gold Coast through 2030 on a deal worth $900,000 annually. Alongside their pursuit of Brimson, the Chiefs have also offered a three-year deal to Titans back-rower Cooper Bai.
