He arrived at the club on a short-term deal, but Ashton Golding’s stay at Castleford Tigers will now last a little longer.

Castleford Tigers have announced that utility back Ashton Golding has signed a new two-year contract with the club. The 30-year-old Jamaica international had initially joined on a one-season deal for 2026 and appeared set to depart at the end of the campaign before agreeing to fresh terms.
Golding made 13 appearances and scored four tries for the Tigers during the season. He will now play under newly appointed head coach Paul Rowley, whose official arrival was confirmed last week.
