The deal still isn’t done and there remains concerns it will happen. But that doesn’t rule out complete hope for London Broncos and DAZN.

London Broncos and broadcaster DAZN could still feature in Super League's 2027 setup, even if an official partnership with the NRL is delayed until 2028. Following meetings in Australia on Monday between league officials, talks progressed on key issues, though an official agreement may be pushed back. Despite this uncertainty, London Broncos remain under consideration to join the competition as a 15th team next year, an expansion initiative backed by Peter V'landys.
Broadcasting rights represent another crucial hurdle, with four weekly matches still unassigned alongside Sky's three-game package. Partnering with DAZN remains the NRL's preferred solution over a short-term offer from Premier Sports. However, governance disputes persist, as V'landys seeks greater decision-making authority while Super League clubs demand further assurances regarding proposed competition and salary cap adjustments before finalizing any arrangement.
