The Black Ferns meet France in Whangārei on Saturday in their penultimate test of the year…

The New Zealand Black Ferns have made late injury-enforced roster changes ahead of their second rugby test against France in Whangārei on Saturday. Midfielder Amy du Plessis was ruled out after suffering a delayed concussion, leading to Justine McGregor stepping into the starting lineup. Hooker Atlanta Lolohea also sustained an ankle injury during Thursday's training session, opening the door for reserve hooker Vici-Rose Green on the bench.
To cover further squad injuries to Lolohea and prop Mo’omo’oga Palu, coach Whitney Hansen called up Holly Wratt-Groenweg and Pip Love to the wider squad. The modifications accompany planned lineup rotations following New Zealand's 81-12 victory in the series opener, including starting roles for lock Laura Bayfield and openside flanker Layla Sae.
