A Springbok speedster has decided to call time on his professional playing career.

Former Springbok winger Courtnall Skosan has officially announced his retirement from professional rugby after a 16-year career. The 35-year-old made the announcement via his Instagram account, confirming he is hanging up his boots following a distinguished playing journey that included 12 Test caps and two tries for South Africa in 2017.
Skosan began his senior career with the Bulls in 2011 before spending a successful stint with the Lions from 2014, where he scored 38 tries in 84 appearances and reached three Super Rugby finals. He later played for English club Northampton in 2021 before returning to South Africa in 2023 for a final spell with the Stormers.
