TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT: Five South Africans will feature for the USA XV against Australia A in New Jersey, with Marno Redelinghuys handed the captaincy for the second clash at New Jersey’s Sports Illustrated Stadium.

Marno Redelinghuys will captain the USA XV against Australia A in New Jersey, leading a side that includes five South African-born players. Head coach Scott Lawrence made sweeping lineup changes following a heavy 61-12 defeat to the Australians in Nashville. Alongside Redelinghuys, fellow South Africans Ruben De Haas, David Coetzer, and Wayne van der Bank earned starting roles, while Dan Kriel was named among the replacements.
Redelinghuys takes over the captaincy as regular skipper Jason Damm drops out of the matchday 23 ahead of next month's World Rugby Nations Cup Tests. Additional starting adjustments feature Luke Carty returning at flyhalf, while Joe Mano and Conner Mooneyham join the lineup on the wings.
