Former Scotland rugby international Tim Visser has pleaded not guilty to rape and other alleged offences against a woman spanning 14 years…

Former Scotland rugby international Tim Visser will stand trial after facing four charges relating to the alleged rape and abuse of a woman between 2010 and 2024. The 39-year-old former winger entered a not guilty plea via his defense counsel at a hearing at the High Court in Glasgow.
Prosecutors allege Visser engaged in physical violence, non-consensual sexual acts, and controlling behavior regarding the woman's finances, diet, and appearance. Visser, who won 33 caps for Scotland and played for Edinburgh, Newcastle, and Harlequins, retired from professional rugby in 2019.
