François Ratier has made eight changes to his starting XV in response to France's 81-12 drubbing at the hands of the Black Ferns a week ago.

France head coach François Ratier has made eight changes to his starting XV ahead of the second Test against New Zealand in Whangārei. The overhaul follows an 81-12 defeat to the Black Ferns in Hamilton, where a younger squad struggled against the hosts. Ratier recalled experienced personnel to stabilize the team after fielding several debutants in the opening fixture.
The lineup sees Émilie Boulard, Gabrielle Vernier, and Carla Arbez return to the starting side, while Ambre Mwayembe and Cloé Correa return following suspensions. Anaïs Grando enters on the wing, Mathilde Lazarko starts at hooker, and Lou Roboam earns her first start in the forward pack.
