Cheslin Kolbe: The smallest man on the pitch and the hardest to catch

South African winger Cheslin Kolbe has established himself as one of rugby's most dangerous players despite frequently being the smallest man on the pitch. Standing just over five feet and weighing around 80 kilograms, the double World Cup winner relies on exceptional footwork, balance, and rapid acceleration to beat defenders. Kolbe made his Springbok debut in 2018 after transitioning from rugby sevens, where he won an Olympic bronze medal at Rio 2016.

Kolbe's international highlights include a decisive try against England in the 2019 World Cup final and a crucial chargedown against France during the 2023 tournament. At the club level, he won the Champions Cup and two Top 14 titles with Toulouse before transferring to Toulon.
