Callum Chick is relishing Northampton Saints’ return to Europe as they look to build on recent deep runs in the Champions Cup and make another big impact.
Callum Chick will captain Northampton Saints from the back row against Cardiff at Franklin's Gardens in the Champions Cup. Director of rugby Phil Dowson has made wholesale lineup changes following the team's 11-try performance against Bath last weekend. Chick highlighted the squad's ambition to make another deep run in European competition.
Saints entered the European fixture sitting second in the Premiership table after recording two wins and one defeat. Chick noted that the switch to Champions Cup action offers a refreshing change of focus for the squad as they aim to replicate their previous tournament successes.
