Rassie Erasmus believes the Springboks' six new call-ups have earned their chance in the national squad.

Springboks coach Rassie Erasmus stated that six newly called-up players thoroughly earned their places in South Africa's 37-man squad. The newcomers—Riley Norton, Emmanuel Tshituka, Yaqeen Ahmed, Markus Muller, Sebastian de Klerk, and Luan Giliomee—were selected for the national team's final four Tests of the season. Erasmus highlighted their consistent performances across the past two franchise seasons and their displays in training camps.
The tour features matches against Italy, France, and Ireland in the European leg of the Nations Championship, concluding with the finals weekend in London in late November. Erasmus emphasized that building squad depth remains a vital priority as the team prepares to assemble in Italy ahead of the tournament fixtures.
