Bull flyer Sebastian de Klerk credits double World Cup winner Willie le Roux with helping to groom him into the player worthy of his maiden Springbok call-up.

Bulls back Sebastian de Klerk has credited veteran fullback Willie le Roux with playing a crucial role in his development following his first Springbok call-up. De Klerk was named in head coach Rassie Erasmus' 37-man South Africa squad for the second leg of the Nations Championship in November, and he revealed that Le Roux was one of the first people he contacted after the announcement.
De Klerk highlighted the two-time World Cup winner's technical guidance, on-field communication, and humble approach to mentoring younger teammates. The 26-year-old previously missed out on a potential Test debut in July due to a foot injury after joining the Bulls in 2023.
